In Labor & Employment Law, Miller represents mortgage lenders, staffing companies, healthcare practices, benefits providers, professional services, and manufacturing and retail businesses, particularly those with multi-state concerns, in the following:    

• Policies, procedures, contracts, and agreements.

• The Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and state and local wage and hour laws.

• Employee benefits and cafeteria plans

• Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA), and all other federal, state, and local laws and regulations.

• Collective bargaining.

 

In Corporate Law, Miller has represented all types of businesses from start-up through exit.  His transactional and general counsel experience creates a practical working relationship with his clients, and he enjoys contributing to their continued success.

 

Miller is also an entrepreneur and has recently exited the solutions-based training and compliance software he founded.   A graduate of St. Ignatius High School, Miller received a B.A. from Kent State University and his law degree from the University of Notre Dame.
